Leone & Brian Martin and family would like to welcome you to Riscombe Farm self catering holiday cottages, high quality accommodation in the heart of Exmoor National Park, near the border of Somerset and Devon in the West Country of England (see location). We are 15 miles from Minehead. Our beautiful area has recently received a lot of coverage on BBC TV by wildlife enthusiast Johnny Kingdom. The farm is over 300 years old, and is in a peaceful, relaxing location beside the River Exe, near the beautiful village of Exford. Stroll along our riverside fields and through the woodland, and relax in one of our beautiful cottages after a day out enjoying Exmoor and the nearby majestic coast.

News Headlines

Renovation of the stable block:
The long process of renovating the stable block is almost complete. It's now been rendered and painted, and looking very smart.

New Lambs, chicks and a duckling:
Four new lambs born on April 18th and April 26th. We also have five new chicks and one of our chickens has hatched out a duckling (deliberately!).

New Kittens:
Born on March 11th. They are doing well and are now venturing into the kitchen, getting under our feet and making friends with our dog! Riscombe Farm news page.

Heavy Snow :

Brian has completed his bicycle adventure across Australia:
More than 2,500 miles (4,000 km) cycling from Perth to Sydney. He raised about £3,500 for WaterAid. Thank you to everyone who sponsored him! For all photos and information see the cycle ride details page.

The holiday cottages provide very comfortable self catering holiday accommodation with character to return to after your exploration of the nearby spectacular coast, open moorland, wooded valleys, old villages, castles and lots more! (see About Exmoor). We have a Games Room, Laundry plus Drying Room and secure Cycle storage room.

Whilst no longer a working farm, we do have ponies, lambs, chickens, ducks, goat, etc. We also have stabling at Riscombe Farm, so you can bring your horse with you for DIY livery. Dogs and pets are welcome.
