and stay in one of our charming self-catering country cottages beside
the River Exe, in the heart of Exmoor, where Devon meets Somerset! Riscombe
Farm is 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the attractive village of Exford, which
has two good pubs, a general store, a newsagent a Post Office/off licence
and tea rooms. Directions from the east: We are about 45 minutes drive from the M5 junction 25 at Taunton. Follow the A358 (signs to Minehead) and approx. 5 miles from Taunton turn left under a railway bridge onto the B3224 (Raleghs Cross, Wheddon Cross, Exmoor). After approximately 9 miles, 0.5 mile after Raleghs Cross Inn, fork right at a church (sign to Wheddon Cross, B3224). Continue to Exford. Leave Exford on the B3224 towards Simonsbath, but turn right at crossroads (White Cross) after 1 mile. Proceed down lane and Riscombe Farm is at the bottom of the hill on a sharp left bend. |
